As Chace's final chance at salvation missed, he knew it was game over. Lou lunged into the air and landed on Chace causing a massive shockwave. Chase collapsed to the ground, defeated again. What was it about these people. He has never fought targets as strong as these. No matter what he did, they just seemed to shake it off or dodge so easily. -FUCK! I have to get stronger somehow! I wont stop until i do! Never! If i can't beat them then how will i be able to stand against this enemy? FUCK!- Chase thought with such frustration, his face glowing red from the anger. He punched the gorund causing his fist to sink into the ground.

Genji noticed Chase's frustration and could simpithyize with his pain. He had never fought people as strong as the people Genji had gathered. Genji walked over and put his hand on Chase's shoulder, causing the boy to look up at him. Genji simply gave him a caring look before kneeling down next to him. "Chase, give this time, you will rise victorious soon enough. The people here are strong, and nothing is harder than fighting your teamates. Overtime, your skills will improve, until then, just dont give up. Everytime you fall, we will be right there to help you back up." Genji smiled and stood up extending his hand to the boy. Chase grabbed his hand and Genji helped him to his feet. "Now, we have to page Adimus." Genji picked up a pebble and faced towards Adimus' spirit pressure and flicked the rock with alot of energy behind it hoping it would get Adimus' attention.

{Chapter 19, A Leaf On The Wind....}

As Adi soared through the air with Ariel, he felt as light as a feather and had a sense of freedom he rarely got to behold. As he tested and learned his new ability of air manipulation, he sensed a small object coming his way. When it came close enough to time, Ariel said "Here, lemme show you a little trick!" and with a twist of her form, the air around the two of them made what looked liked a small transparent vortex and caused the rock to spin around them before falling back down to the earth.

"Hmm, wonder who coulda thrown that." Ariel queried with a puzzled child's look. Adi on the other hand knew the only other people out in this area and figured it was Genji who had thrown the rock. "Guess that's my queue to leave. Thanks for the help Ariel, you're will shall not be wasted." Adi said before dive bombing towards the ground and lifting back up for a burst of speed.

"And you as well, Wayward Dragon. Don't let my awesome sauce moves go to waste!" Ariel shouted before fading back into the nether.

As Adi returned to the camp, he realized the toll the magic was taking on him, and quickly touched ground before he collapsed and fell to his death. "Flying takes quite a bit of energy without the aid of a spirit...Guess I'm going to have reserve that for dire situations. Until then..." Adi said looking at the open pathway before him. Taking a few steps back, Adi backed his legs with the power of the wind, and dashed off.

The speed was the same as flash stepping, however it was different for the fact that it didn't require spirit energy to work, but mana and inner ki instead. The significance of this would go over the head of just about anyone else, but the reason this was of use to Adimus, was the fact that it granted super speed, without making his presence known to nearby hollows or arrancar, or spiritually aware enemies. Basically, he was a leaf on the wind, and his enemies would watch as he soared. Or at least they would when he was serious, flying was hard, fun, but very, very hard.

He made it back to camp within a short amount of time, and when he got their, ran so fast that he was like a blur to Lou, and as he stopped, he sat upon the cooler, drinking a soda as he tossed one to Lou, who for some reason was never shocked when Adi pulled stunts like this. "Hi Lou."

"Hey Adi. Learn another new trick?"
"Yea, something like that."
"Yeap..."
"Yeap.....Have fun while I was away?"
"Something like that."
"Yeap"
"Yeap..."

Genji noticed Adimus return to site and his greetings to everybody. Genji acknowledged him with a nod then walked with Chase to a relaxing spot to tend to his wounds. He took out another shot and injected it into Chase's right arm. "This will speed your healing process, but will deplete your spirit energy, so rest for a little bit." Genji turned to Adimus and Lou. "Well i guess i should get to work grabbing some food. Lou why dont you come with me and Adimus you stay here with Chase." Genji shot Adimus a look then looked over to Chase as if to say with his eyes that he wanted him to talk to Chase about his recent lose. Gesturing to Lou to follow him, Genji made his way up the stairs and towards the kitchen.

{Chapter 20: Sulking Gets Us Nowhere. Now Get The Fuck Up!}

Adi looked at Chase as he sat there staring out into space like a sad puppy. Guessing that the look Genji shot him referred to Adi talking to Chase about his previous defeats and his ego probably being crushed like a small kitten under the boot of an ogre.

Getting up and sitting down next to Chase, Adi started to speak to the boy in a voice similar to one his Grandfather would use to him; An overbearing asshole with good advice and respect. "Kid, let me guess, you got you're ass kicked right? Not just by Genji, but by Lou as well. Well don't let it get you down. For a fourteen year old boy, you're amazing, and full of potential. Me and Lou are in our twenties, and have had a lifetime's worth of training. And the sad part is, you're not too far from us." Adi said as he got up and pulled out his shotgun, twirling it around as he continued on.

"I'm a prodigy among my people, and powerful even compared to shinigami and vizards. I've killed Arrancar before, and many other humans of my caliber, and some even higher. We've started wars, fought in them and thus ended them, shaping the world to how our peers saw fit." Adi then turned to to face Chase in the eyes, "We grew tired of it. Being pawns and doing what others asked us to do. I mean shit, we even got thrown into another fucking dimension! And for what!? A thank you from a shoddy government and a couple bucks? Nah, I said fuck that, and right as we left, my memories from being in the Jade Order came back to me, and my power fully awakened. And just when I thought I was safe, this shit happens. I'm as powerful as I am because I desire to live. I may not seem like it, but Ima family man, and I do have someone waiting for my safe return." Adi said with his voice slowly raising before going back down as he walked away from Chase again.

"I know I won't end every battle with a win, in fact, it was a harsh defeat that landed me in this spot to begin with. I've lost quite a few battles myself but I didn't let them get me down. You got skill and spunk, and with that, it's high time you quit sulking, and get the hell up and get back to training, starting now." Adi said tossing Chase his guns. "I'll teach you the basics of Trigger Tai Chi, the art my family perfected. It'll help you immensely in gun battles." Adi said striking what looked like a martial arts form, but with a gun.
