Don't know if there are national statistics or not. My 30+ years working as a NH Administrator in NY Metro region varied depending on the facility’s size, location and specialty programs offered. The oldest average age was 84.3 (a 200 bed SNH) and the youngest was 69.7 years old (a 340 bed SNF w/ a vent unit).
