Ayame was one of the few who takes orders rather than lead a team as she tends to be ahead of others when there are more hollows (or Shinigamis) than she can handle. Due to her timid nature, she is viewed as weak and not fit to do any real combat. In reality, Ayame can fight, just rather inexperienced compared to those who are top of their class (which most are to her). She cannot use the basic attacks besides summoning her Shikai, which was two years late. What really broke half of her spirit was when she accidentally knocked down a tree with a misfire of the most basic bolt spell.
Occasionally, her timid nature made her rather skittish as she was noticed as one of those who bumps into the wrong people and gets into trouble related to losing certain scrolls that she was tasked to deliver. Much to her disorganization, her Zanpakuto often took opportunity to humiliate its master by sexual harassment around people.
It is later on in her years that she possessed a nullified personality, making her clueless while having a hidden intellect. She still panics when the battle tide is against her and her quarter was a mess still, but at least she stopped stammering and jumbling her words when she speaks, instead, she is a slow-speaker.

Zanpakuto Spirit Personality: Its infamy was mainly for its sexual harassment towards its master, thus giving her a bad reputation for being one of the few Reapers who failed to completely control her own Zanpakuto. Other than that, its history seemed to date back more than five centuries, during the feudal era of Japan as it seemed to talk in ancient Japanese that only its master can understand. Other than that, most of its mental makeup was made up of honor, romantic love and shady mischief.
Zanpakuto Realm: An abyss with blue flames surrounding everyone like the boundary line between the safe haven and the hell that is bent on attacking those who foolishly stepped over the line.
Un-released State: Ayame’s Zanpakuto is unique compared to others as it is disguised as a pink flower that was worn on the right side of her collar with two tamed vines creeping around her uniform as if it loves her more than itself.
Call out Phrase: “Steel yourself, Ronin!”
Shikai State: The vines whipped around and twisted itself into a very sturdy staff that extended five feet higher than its master. The bottom part of the staff was coated in thorns while the tip of it was tipped with a rarely large thorn that is meant to stab at hollows that are bigger than her. The appearance was intimidating to sparring partners, but the secret was known only to her that her Zanpakuto was completely harmless, it only disables the danger factors of opponents like Hollows and opposing weapons like Zanpakutos.

Sabotage : While most done damage, Ronin is considered the kind who does damage of a special kind by creating a distortion in the target's spiritual pressure, making the needs of the Zanpakuto to become Shikai higher. Each swing worsens the distortion, therefore adding more difficulty to release the Zanpakuto. The possible trade-off of the ability was the dangers of an explosion of spiritual pressure due to the target not being used to the sudden changes; therefore creating a short-timed spiritual surge when the distortion dissipates.
(Forum Talk: The Distortion lasts 3 posts from its master and 3 posts from the target.)
Syringe : Unfortunate for its master, Ronin does not deal real damage, but just like any Shikai state Zanpakutos, Ronin is devastating all the same. This follow-up attack paralyzes hollow-based target(s) with its thorns. It only works when it made a firm physical contact and not just a graze, but it works longer when the thorns remained in complete physical contact, the paralysis can be ongoing. The trade off of the attack was the vulnerability of the master towards another attack.
(Forum Talk: The paralysis only lasts one post from the target. After that post is done, the target is freed if Ronin is not in complete physical contact.)

History: Her days of high school were simple as she was one of the few who only made it in because their entrance exam scored the minimal. As a freshman, she was mainly a target of senior pranks and broken promises. As a fifteen year old girl, she is a dreamer and a prank-bait while struggling with her education. The education hardly bothered her as she already planned to be a housewife instead of something bigger.
The dream of a good life was soon dashed as she was going home. A man from a bike gang kidnapped her for something related to an initiation test. Plead for a reason, but the man gave her no reason why he took her in front of her own home. Her answer was clear as she meets the gang themselves. She was told to either serve the boss or leave. She chose to leave without realizing that what she really chose to was to be beaten. The gang jumped her and beat her in front of a church. After the brutality, she was left to die with no rescue; her family mourned for her misfortune.
Ayame woke up in a slum outside the Soul Society and was lost in her own denial. In her confusion, she signed up for what she thought was the school, but it turned out to be the academy for Shinigami. Session after session, she learned many things, but not as efficient as the others. Because of tutoring, she managed to get by graduation with minimal requirements fulfilled. During her graduation, she received her Zanpakuto named, Ronin.
Ever since she received it, she began to listen to it and learned from it. However, Ronin was what most would have less expectation for being a flower with two creeping vines. Eventually after two years, she managed to release her Zanpakuto into Shikai state. The problem with it was its size and Ayame’s clumsiness, so during spars, she occasionally trips over her own Shikai. With the help of a friend, she managed to improved her balance with the awkward plant lance.
With improvement in her confidence (but by little), she began performing tasks for multiple squads. The tasks are mainly deliveries and informing, but half of the times, she either forgot about them or lost the items. Spars are daily by only once and she lost against others who also used the Shikai state of their Zanpakuto. Hard enough for her to figure out, the usual result of her blocks against the Shikais are nothing until the moment that there was an explosion, causing the match to be in a stalemate due to double ring-out, or she loses due to nothing at all. Never once a hollow was within her range of combat experience and her incidents created some ire in some soul reapers.

Ayame's question was in vain as no one answered, just ignored her. She continued, but her Zanpakuto, Ronin suddenly shifted its vine and massaged her butt, causing her the yipped loudly in a startled manner.
Hearing the yipping sound from down that hallway, Amai sighed in slight disapproval. She slowly shifted her body out of her large comfy leather black chair which was kept in front of the large computer monitor in the lab. She came to a stand as she walked out the lab door and headed toward the sound of the yip, looking over to see Ayame with a face of shock.
The appearance of the captain only startled Ayame more as she slipped on nothing in her panic and sent more than seven scrolls flying around the small section of the hallway. One scroll landed softly over Ayame's eyes.
Amai had ducked quickly as she saw a scroll head in her direction. She then shinpo'd toward the female and laughed lightly, shaking her head before speaking in a gentle tone. "In trouble again, Ayame?" Were the spoken words as Amai tilted her head with a giggle slipping from her lips. Amai gently removed the scroll from over Ayame's eyes.
Ayame shook her head as her Zanpakuto's vine waved towards Amai, claiming responsibility in silence.
"Captain of Squad 12, Amai. I forgot that your room is that close from where I am."
"Yeah it is.. I see that Ronin is causing you a few problems again huh?" Amai let out a soft laugh, coiling her finger around the vein that was from Ronin in a gentle and friendly manor.
"I'll clean this up! Sorry! These are for you!"
Ayame's tone was clearly in panic as she scrambled to collect the scrolls that scattered around the hallways.
