Amai's fingertips moves quickly over the smooth and fragile keys on the keyboard of the large main computer of division 12. Her eyes quickly scanning over the words as she typed with both speed and accuracy. Her eyes moving from left to right as she read everything that appeared over the large screen. After quickly pressing the enter key to respond to the main computer's backup program, the computer suddenly slowed down.
What... On earth.. Is happening? were her thoughts. She couldn't look away until there was a sudden darkness on the screen. She sat there, the only light would be emitting from her Zanpakuto. Her fingertips froze as her left eye twitched. No... no.. No way! Were all she could think. Just repeating her thoughts again and again and again.
"DAMN IT ALL NO!" Amai shouted as she slammer her hands onto the keyboard. "THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!" Amai yelled once more. A dark chuckle came from came from her Zanpakuto which gained Amai's attention. 'Seems the princess lost her favorite toy.. Didn't she?' came the voice of Chishio, Amai's Zanpakuto. This earned a slight growl from the young captain who crossed her arms over her chest in frustration.

-----A warm sun hung in the beautiful blue and white speckled sky. A gentle breeze granted its cool kiss to the land on frequent occasion. During such troubling times, days like this seemed infrequent. Such turbulance rarely allowed for the serenity and peace of a beautiful afternoon such as this. Captain Zakari knew this all too well to be a special blessing, and intended to spend it in a way that would only grant him more enjoyment.
-----Zakari made way directly for the 12th Squad's domicile, the Research and Development Department. His reason lying in what or rather, who, he sought. His long time friend and confidant, and like himself, newly appointed Captain, Amai. A smile came to his lips just thinking of her as he entered the building alone.
-----At length, Zakari had found his way to his destination, and laid eyes on it now as it lay just down the hall. He began the final leg of his trek only to be interupted by a spazztic issuance of frantic voice and clatter. His expression never fluttered though he did take a moment to halt and strain his ears for any more oblong sounds. He approached the door now and gently rapped his knuckles against it.
-----Not waiting for response, Zakari bid himself entrance into the room. The dark chamber lit by nothing more than Amai's faintly glowing Zanpakuto. A smile returned to his lips now. His eyes meeting with hers for a moment despite the dim light. He spoke now in a soft tone, one not known to many if not only Amai.

Amai's figure jumped slightly as she turned to look at the figure that had just walked in. She had only gained a slight glance as he came in, and made his way toward her. Her eyes looked over the man as she noticed it was Zakari, causing her Zanpakuto to illuminate more light as joy filled her.
"I don't notice the day and night from this room. And I need to fix this crisis in some way.. We need to get back to the humans.. Don't we..?" She smiled at the man in a kind manor before she turned to look at the large monitor behind her.
"But it seems I lost the computer.. It crashed on me.. Hopefully the captain commander will be able to tell me how to fix this ancient thing.." She said rubbing the back of her head. Her hair shifting with her every movement as she let out a sigh of defeat. Her hand then lowered as she placed per delicate hands upon her sides.
"And I'm not always fighting with Chishio.. He just likes to butt in and add is two sense." She said with a slight pout before looking at him from the corner of her eye. A soft laugh slipping from her lips as she lightly smiled.

-----Zakari let slide a sort of laugh as he exhaled a soft sigh. Always fond of Amai since the night he met her at least a hundred years ago he thought. He adjusted the white haori hanging from his shoulders, and began to speak once more.
-----[glow=red,2,300]"Though I agree that we indefinitely need to reopen the gateway between here and the human world, We need our Commander and top researcher in good health when we achieve that goal.. Can't you spare a few moments while word gets to the Commander about your computer issues?"[/glow]
-----His smile had grown ever softer in light of his request. His eyes glowing somewhat in the now brighter light of the female's weapon. He reached towards her with an outstretched arm. Offering his hand to her while he stared into her lovely eyes. He wouldn't be so boastful to say she 'couldn't' deny him, though time has shown that so far the's rarely done so.

"Fine.. I'll leave my little room of darkness." She said in a whiny tone. Amai then laughed afterwards as she lifted her hand to meet his. She gently placed her hand in his as she smiled at him before gripping his hand and tugging him toward the door in a gentle manor.
"Lets go for a walk and maybe get a bite to eat, Okay?" Amai said in a kind voice as she looked up at the man. Her silver eyes glistening with delight as she left the room and entered the main hallway of her barracks. Her hand was gently holding his as they entered the hall and she glanced at the door.
"It's really up to you." Came her voice again as she averted her silver gaze to look up at the man once more. A calm smile graced her delicate lips as she let out a light giggle, hoping to get him to agree to her terms.
