Name: Raziel Humomuru
Age:30
Real Age: 80
Appearance:Raziel is tall and lanky. He wears his Shinigami uniform in perfect fashon, and always keeps his sword where it is SUPPOSSED TO BE((looking at you Hitsuguya >> )). His Hair is shoulder length, straight, and blank and has blue eyes that are almost as clear as marbles. This is matched by very dark, black hair and an extremely pale complexion. His posture is almost stick like, and on his feet he wears simple sandals. He has a tendancy to fade into the background on occassion, especially when in groups. Oddly enough, he fights with his blade in the sheath, using blunt force in most fights where he doesn't go to shikai.
Personality:At first glance, Raziel appears to be an icredibly quiet person. He is an avid book reader and usually let's other dominate conversation in favor of learning more about them. He is loyal and friendly to those he is close to and often appears to be a welcoming, warm person to those he does not. He is respectful toward his superiors, as well as the Gotei system of governing, and offers his respect to those he disagrees with or has conflict with.
He often times comes off as easy-going, but is a hardworker, and come easily become disappointed in those around him if they do not live up to his expectations, but counters this by handing out forgiveness easily to those who seek it. When it comes to common interaction, he is a shining beacon of responsibility, having little to no rebellious side in him.
However, that is only half of it. While he is a still mountain of a person to those around him, he is quiet the oppossite when he comes into to contact with those that he deems abominations. The unbirth of nature. Hollows, primarily fall under this classification, but others by extention do to. Visoreds are a stunning example. He hates them. Very simple. They shine on as a latern of hypocrisy in his eyes, having gained and made use of the powers that they originally vowed to fight. Arrancar fall even deeper than this, having taken on what he claims to be a stolen image of humanity. Don't even get him started on demons. To these beings, he is cruel and merciless in person and in deed. He will attack without second thought, charging them out of the blue as soon as he knows of their presence, confident that his sense of justice will carry him. This sudden shift from an almost monk-like demeaner to cold-blooded, driven cleanser of tainted flesh, takes on a slight physical change as well. He becomes still, tense, until it comes time to take action.
Zanpakuto Name: Yahane
Zanpakuto Appearance:
Zanpakuto Personality: Despite being an animal, Yahane has a tendancy to act like an old man. In fact, his voice is almost a complete mirror of Raziel's, but since Raziel is the only one to ever to speak to him, this goes largely unnoticed by either of them. He is a very wise, guiding figure in Raziel's life. He gets along well with Raziel at times, but has a tendancy to help him out a little too much, just to let him have the reigns (( ha ha, reigns, its a horse, ha ha...)) at the last minute in most situations, leaving Raziel a little taken aback. He never ceases to help Raziel when he asks for it, but often chastises him for some of the smallest imperfections.
Yahane acts almost like an older version of Raziel himself, and sometimes embodies the knowledge required by Raziel in certain situations, i.e. he will preach patience to Raziel when he is impatient, but will turn around a preach speed over thought when Raziel is taking his time. Overall, Yahane is a father figure toward Raziel, who then takes that and acts like the moral compass to some of those around him. Neither of them are particularly violent, but Yahane lacks a certain amount of vigor in his convictions against the 'scum of existance ', making this one of the only long-run differences between them.
Zanpakuto Realm: The world inside Raziel's mind is represented by a large, crystaline castle, with many high corridors. Despite this being Yahane's living space regularly, when Raziel visits it, Yahane prefers not to show himself, choosing instead to speak ominously through the walls, his voice echoing through the empty castle. The castle begins to fill in with scarlett color when Raziel is filled with righteous fury.
Unreleased State:
Release Phrase: Break the Limit, Yahane.
Shikai State:
Shikai Powers: Ryusseigun
When he so chooses, Raziel can choose to send power into Yahane's blade. When swung at an arc ( not usable when stabbing ) small crystal orbs will appear every 20 degrees (see image), when the swing is finished, the orbs shoot out into pillars of light. On impact, they will shatter, crystalizing the surface they hit. Against weaker enemies, the orbs will tear straight through the enemy like shot from a shotgun.
The crystalizing affect has little effect on weaponry, except for weighing it down, but when it hits fleshing, it shreds the area, and continues to shred if the person attempts to remove it, leaving a lot of bleeding, exposed, torn flesh. The ability will not activate if the sword makes contact with anything but air while being swung. The crystalized area does not dissapait over time, but can be chipped off quiet easily off of metal surfaces.
Crystalization
This ability has little use in combat. No wait, it has ZERO use in combat. When yahane is stabbed into a surface, it will begin to crystalize over time. Spreading away from the point of impact at about an inch every minute ( not fast at all ). This ability is purely caused by affinity with the crystal the blade is made of ( but not the hilt, making Raziel's hands immune to the effect ).
Transition Stage ( see shikai description ) : This ability is, as the name suggests, is a phase Yahane must go through in order to reach bankai. When in effect, the blade changes from def spec to speed spec. In order to get to this form, Raziel must stab Yahane into a surface , allow the crystalization ability to slowly fuse the blade to said surface, enough so that Raziel can get a grip on the hilt, and pull the smaller, thin blade OUT of the original shikai. This is Yahane's true shikai, a razor blade (( the main/original shikai, was in fact the sheath in shikai form )).
This form retains the same abilities as the other, taking on only a physical shift. It looses its heft ( leaving it in a crystalized mound ), and becomes thin and fragile. It retains little use over time, as it will slowly chip away down to its circle at its base. When inflicting shallow wounds, this is effect is unnoticeable, but a visible chunk will chip off if it meets another weapon or deep wound ( making contact with bone ). As such, its abilities are welcome, yet short lived.
Bankai Release Phrase: Set the Standard, Yahane-Cavalier
Bankai State: When he decides to use Bankai, Raziel calls out to Yahane for more help. He becomes clad in armour and the current transition phase and the husk of his shikai flow into light and reform as his new spear. Yahane appears, also flowing out of material form into a translucent silihoute, he rides up behind Raziel, catches under him, and hoists the shinigami onto his back, the light that it is made up begins to flow out of his form rapidly, until it reaches the size of a two story building. The light flowing out of Yahane soldifies onto armoured plates.

History: For as long as he could remember, Raziel has had his eyes on the lives of the soul reapers. He lived on the second floor of a house directly adjacent to the gate leading in to the Shinigami living space. He had a small window and would spend hours with a home made telescope watching the soldiers with swords at their sides entering and returning from the human world. He envied them, and wished nothing more than to someday cross that gate himself to fight the bad guys
threatening the natural order. Because of this, he would often rush as fast as he could every time the gate would start to open.
He spent many days attempting to immitate the famed demon arts by himself behind his house, aiming at a tree stump that he'd drawn a large white mask on with chalk, sometimes he'd take up a small axe he had and spend hours just whakking the small faces he'd drawn onanything he could find. It was an awe inspiring event when he heard of the instalment of an academy. He stood in line for hours surrounded by many other young children that were much bigger than he. He got accepted, luckily, but was put on a waiting list of 6 years to get in, behind all of the much more talented students. He swore that before his time came, he would master atleast one spell.
He snuck into the house of another student who had already recieved some books and had returned home to say goodbye to his parents, and stole the biggest one he could fine.
'Demon Arts: Training regimine and guide.'
For the next six years he practiced spell after spell, eventually deciding on Byakurai. He thought of it as a 'super-cool way of kicking ass' and.. it was the only one of a few he could actually learn to perform with just the instuctions from the book. He was able to perform it at a relatively mild power level, but mostly used it to show off.
When it came time for him to actually go to the academy, he was full of confidence... for the first 12 seconds. It took him that long to realise that there were kids younger than him around that had not only mastered the one spell he had managed to finish learning, but dozens of others as well. He grew angry with himself and vowed that if he could not be the best with spells, that he would be the best with a sword, or his fists, or something.
This confidence carried him, to a certain length, far, and he graduated with no impeding problems, after 7 years of schooling. His kido was still far from the best in quality, but he has made up for this by learning a wider variety of spells, both Hado and Bakudo. Though he was far from a progidy, he remained at a point where he could tutor some of the other students. He graduated, and since then has only risen in rank, never one to be called a genius, but with skill and accountability that outlasted that of his former, fellow students.
