Personality: Kyo Is a slacker to say the least. He would rather go around having fun instead of buckling down to do work. He loves training his body, just not his mind. He enjoys taking walks and laying under the shade of the trees to enjoy every bit of life. Always seems to find a way to get in trouble even when trouble isn’t looking for him.
Although Kyo doesn’t put forth the effort in many things he is actually smarter than he looks. When it comes to friends he would stick by them to the bitter end. Ever the hero, Kyo would put his life on the line for a complete stranger if it came down to it.
Zankpakuto
Zanpakuto Name: Raionshin (Roar, Lionheart)
Zanpakuto Spirit Apperance:
Zanpakuto Spirit Personality:
Zanpakuto Realm: Raionshin’s world is a beach side property surrounded by rolling green hills on one side and a crystal blue ocean on the other. The building that remains standing frozen in time is a brick home big enough to house about 6 people. The house there use to be a small orphanage, Raionshin resides here part of the time, when he is not on the beach. Raionshin is usually practicing his swordsmanship on the beach or staring out over the ocean while sitting on the hill when Kyo comes to visit him.
Un-released State: Kyo’s Zanpakuto looks like a normal Japanese style katana. It has a black sheath. The hand guard looks like it has two lions standing on their hind legs. It appears like they are attacking each other. The handle is wrapped in dark blue cloth and capped with a silver ending. Towards the hand guard there is a small silver lion poised for attack.
Call out Phrase: Unari, Raionshin
Shikai State:
Shikai Powers: Toriga (Trigger)- Kyo condenses his spirit pressure and fires them like bullets from his gunblade. He can also fire them point blank range to cause a miniature blast of his spirit pressure to damage his foe.
Renzokuken, (Many Slashes)- Kyo coats his blade with spirit pressure increasing the sharpness of his blade, and attacks with a flurry of well placed and precise blows. Kyo can combine this move with Toriga to do more damage.
Soya Kaku (Rough divide)- Kyo coats his blade in condensed spirit energy and slashes his enemy vertically releasing the spirit pressure in an explosions. Kyo can also combine this move with Toriga to do more damage.
Bankai State:
Bankai Powers:
Anki Maru (Fated Circle)- Kyo surrounds himself with a bunch of spirit pressure orbs. These orbs explode outward from kyo towards his enemy. The damage veries on how much spirit pressure kyo puts into this move.
Bakusai Chitai (Blasting Zone)- Kyo spins his blade in one complete circle rapidly coating it with condensed spirit pressure increasing the length of his blade by six feet. Then he slams the charged blade against the ground causing pillars of energy to rise up from the ground rushing towards the enemy causing them damage.
Raionshin (Lionheart)- Kyo fills his blade with an immense amount of spirit pressure and attacks his enemy with 18 powerful, well placed, and precise blows. Each strike tosses the enemy higher and higher into the air. Everytime Kyo strikes his foe his blade causes a medium sized explosion. All this leads to the final diagonal slash followed by a large explosion from Kyo releasing the spirit pressure that he charged his sword with in the beginning.
History: Kyo grew up as a pampered boy and a moderately wealthy family. He never really had anything to worry about when it came to money. However Kyo hated this life. He hated being rich and people always grinning at him with false smiles. The moment he turned his back they would start gossiping behind his back. He often thought, if this was all his, he would just give majority of it away and keep enough to live on peacefully.
He often went for walks to get away from all these people and their false personas. He loved his parents and knew that the way he felt wasn’t their fault. They did everything they could to make him happy and he appreciated it. All he wanted to do though was find a way out of the life he currently was in. Often, thiefs would try to break in the house and steal money from his family.
As much as he just wanted to let them take the money, he couldn’t dot that to his family. Many times Kyo tried to stop them, and many times Kyo got beat down and the thiefs escaped with small bits of their fortune. Kyo couldn’t stand this feeling of helplessness anymore, so he started training against his own body guards to get stringer.
He hit the books to become a better tactician and practiced his knowledge against scholars his parents hired. This wasn’t enough for Kyo however. One day he approached his parents and told them that he wanted to attend the Soul Reaper Academy. At first they refused, knowing how low the success rate was in some classes and thought it was a risky investment. Kyo wouldn’t stand for this though, he too the money he needed to go to the academy and left in the middle of the night.
Roleplay Sample: Kyo walked up to the academy’s doors for the first time and couldn’t believe he was here. Finally he would get stronger than he currently was. He would learn how to make it to the class of Captain, eventually. He enrolled that morning and got his class assignment. He would be attending Captain Nearmonts class in the morning. For now though he was allotted some down time that he spent under the shade of a tree on a hill. As night fell on Soul Society Kyo went back to the school dorms to rest until the next morning.
Morning came and Kyo went to his class and waited patiently for it to begin. Captain Nearmont came in and told them all to start meditating so he listened and did as he was told. The next time Captain Nearmont came back in, he was about to speak when a weird looking new guy came busting in late and picked up a boken off the rack and said something but Kyo just ignored it.
Captain nearmont came down onto the sparring floor and picked up a boken himself and gave a speech about why not to be late in class. Kyo knew that this was going to prove to be interesting.
