Markus sat back in his chair surrounded by papers, the latest injurie reports from the other squads, ordinarly these reports were handled by a vice captain but since he didn’t have one he was stuck with them. he read over the reports, broken arms legs standard things really, when he had worked under the former captain he had handled these kinds of reports and wondered what kind of horrors really were out in the world, now as he looked at the large pile he mealy shrugged it was business as usual.
Markus got up from his chair, leather apolstry, dark mahagony wood, comfortable lumbar support, and for some reason completely evil. He had got it at a pawn shop cheap, the owner had been glad to get rid of it, something about it being cursed, all he ever saw was the odd puff of sulfuric gas and a voice in the back of his head that told him to kill all his friends when he sat in it.he stretched slightly as he stood. ~wish there was something else to do then file these reports all day long.~ “Oh how I wish a hot girl would just walk right into my office now.”

Akumu moved through the SS, a small trail of blood leading from behind. The dark figure of a woman moved around a few shinigami who called to her in concern at the blood, whom she simply brushed off. SHe knew where she needed to go, and gods knew it was not the best place. The hood of her uniform was down letting her medium length red hair flow a bit. "...." She sighed closing her eyes as her normally pale flesh was paler.
She moved into the 4th area, avoiding the lackies of the place.. people would couldn't tell an arm from a squirrel's pelvis! She stook at the door to the captain's office and swiftly kikced the door open with her boot, "oi... i need help" she smiled falling forward a small knife sticking out of her back in a place one could not simply reach on their own. "...ow" she muttered muffled as she laid there at the feet of Markus' desk.

Markus looked at the captain as she suddenly burst threw his door. he blinked slightly taken aback by the sudden aggressiveness of the situation. Not really sure what to say. As she fell over and put blood on his carpet he looked up at the sky. “Okay good work on that one now I wish for a million dollars to be delivered in a Lamborghini driven by a bunny furry.” he waited a moment. “Yeah I figured I was pushing my luck on that one.”
Markus walked up to the now passing out captain of squad three kneeling down as he looked at her. he shook his head it didn’t look like she would live really. The wound was deep and in her spine with out a doctor she wouldn’t make it, so then why had she come here? “Damn it Akumu this is the third time this week, is there a medic around! Hello squad three captain needs a medic!” he sighed as no one answered. In a squad of medics and doctors why did he always have to do everything?

Akumu groaned as she was moved a bit, "actually fourth, i fixed myself the third time... this time i just can't reach it" she muttered as she blinked away the blue that was creeping into her eyes. "bleh... You know how my squad is.. these days they are just as bad as the guys we kill" she admitted trying to move. "Just.. just get it out before i bleed to death" she chuckled her arms shaking, and her legs unable to support herself.
Squad three was where a mix of brutes and cowards were... brutes who enjoyed killing, and cowards who were to scared to fight someone who was not already on their last leg or defenseless. Akumu was working on weeding out the cowards, but had yet to appoint any 'primary' chair members. So it seems the brutes were ganging up on her for being the new captain, the cowards were paying the brutes to do that, and at the most being the new captain was just a pain in the spine!

Markus sighed shaking his head as he looked at Akumu laying on his floor. he got on his knees and looked over her wound. It was deeper then he first thought, and he needed to remove it, but moving it would no doubt cause Akumu some pain. “Okay is there anything wrong with you… other then the knife in your spine? Any pent up emotions or other pains?”
Markus sighed placing a hand on akumu’s back. He looked at her. contempt and waiting in what he would have to do. It would hurt but hay he wasn’t the one being hurt. “Okay Akumu since you’re here any way I think its time you had a small test, now im gonna show you a card and with out thinking your gonna tell me whats on the card okay?” with one hand he showed her a card with an ink blob well the other slowly went towards the dagger lodged in her back.

Akumu rolled her eyes weakly as her fellow captain made his joking comment, "Really Nearmont? going to make these jokes now?" she grumbled, "I stil have my unfathomable hatred toward people who think they are funny... " she stated with a smile. ~"Kill him..." Oh shut up L.K. I'm in no mood for you "...." that's right bitch..~ She sighed closing her eyes for a moment as she tried to sit up only to have a pain keep her laying there.
Akumu's redish brown hair was blocking some of her face as she laid there, she huffed her breath moving it from her emerald eyes. She looked at the card in her face, "I see a cute puppy, in a blender on chop" she said with a smile, "or" she tilted her head, "actaully it's a squirrel in a blender on peirra." she corrected nodding her head slowly. Yeah this third captain was a bit crazy and evil.

Markus sighed a bit hearing his answer, it was true this wasn’t the best time to psycho analyze someone but in this case he couldn’t help but feel a bit creped out by her answers. He made a sudden move as he grabbed the dagger and jerked the blade free of her spine in a quick motion, hopefully her mind hadn’t been on the dagger at the time. “There we go, that wasn’t all that bad now was it? here let me just start healing the wound now.”
Markus held out his hands as they began to glow, working Kido healing magic on her spine, it hadn’t been severely damaged at least she would be able to walk at least. He worked slowly feeling his kido work on her, and at the same time feeling a flood of her emotions, when you healed someone with kido you could feel there emotions, and markus was at least skilled enough to not let it affect him but he shook his head. “Dear god is there one thing on this planet you actually like?”

Akumu jumped slightly as the blade was ripped from her back. It stung but she barely felt it, "heh owwy" she whined blandly as she laid there the pain starting to grow into a throb. Akumu was used to pain and rarely felt anything from it... She felt it sure, but reacting to it was something she had learned to avoid most of the time. ~"You are weak..." ~ Her eyes narrowed as she laid there.. hating that she even jumped from the blade being removed. She clenched her fist as she laid there letting Markus heal her wound.
Her eyes closed as she felt the warmth of the Kido spread through her and heal the wound, "..." she opened her eyes and glared at the ground as markus spoke, "Psh, I like many things, just nothing you'd find likeable" she stated as she sat up after her wound was closed. "Thank you Nearmont, i apologize for disrupting your work or whatever it is you were doing" she stood up her knees wobbling slightly as she moved grabbing the man's chair to support herself. "... why does your chair smell of sulfur?" she asked looking it over.

Markus got up as he finished healing Akumu and shook himself to try and shake off the extra load of emotions. He looked over Akumu and walked around the room there wasn’t much to say until she brought up his chiar. “Oh that? its nothing just a heavily cursed possibly evil chair made from wood grown in the deepest darkest pits of hell. Quite comfortable really.”
Markus walked up beside her and gently pulled the chair away from the desk offering her a seat. He had always wanted to see what the reactions of another captain would be to the chair, after all its last few owners had all gone insane, hence its amaizingly cheep price. But the leather upholstery made up for the grown sound of insanity. “go ahead sit down its really not all bad, mostly it just sits there and exudes sulfur, and also theres a voice every now and then, really quite standard. Please take a seat.”

Akumu's interest was peaked hearing how the chair was 'evil' it made the woman smile a little. She was not a fan of evil, she just herself was such. She did not choose to be like that it just happened, and she went along with it without question. "hmmm it looks lovely, "she murmured looking it over, "very soft" she chuckled then looked at him with surprise. Most captains hated others sitting in their chairs, it was a territorial thing or something. "..okay.." she muttered taking a seat.
The captain relaxed into the soft leather closing her eyes smiling softly, "mmm nice" she muttered stretching a bit. "..." She smirked, "yeah i can hear the voices.. they are upsetting L.K., he gets jealous so easily i feel heh" she joked scratching her head, "It's a nice chair.. any chance you'd trade it for mine? it's twice as plush and made of mahogony" she offered hoping to gain this chair, it just seemed to draw her attention.

Markus gave a smile hearing that she lliked the chair was a good thing, however he could not allow it to leave his office. “I am sorry Akumu but the chair stays with me. its comfortable and in a strange way ive grown attached to the chair… it is precious to me” at the last part of the sentence his voice seemed to strain giving an odd kind of scratch to his voice almost a hiss.
Markus gestured for Akumu to get off his chair, as he no longer wished for her to sit on it. she would ruin the grooves he had worked so hard to make. The chair needed to be preserved. He shook his head. As he stepped aside. “If you don’t mind lady Akumu perhaps we could take a walk get away from my office, get you moving instead of sitting on your ass, just saying. Im hungry how about we go down to the cafeteria.”

Akumu made a face as she sat there enjoying the feeling of the chair... it made her feel powerful, wanting more of it. "..." she smirked coldly petting the arm of the chair. Hearing Markus' words about not letting her have the chair made her glare at him, for a moment wanting to kill him. She heard not only L.K. telling her this but another voice... something more evil than even L.K.!
But then she shook her head throwing the voices out like week old left overs. ~cleanse the mind...~ she thought before standing up. She glared at markus again as he said she should not sit on her ass all day... What was it to him? She slaved over a hot execution room all day, she could sit down on her ass if she wanted! ~Maybe he shouldn't sit on his ass all day! Mr. "oh i heal people' blah blah blah fuck him!~ she thought then shook her head relaxing, oddly feeling a lingering presence from the chair.
"yes.. perhaps something to eat would be good" she stated pulling her hood back over her red hair letting a shadow cast just over her eyes. "Lead on" she smiled her lower half the face all that was seen. She appeared like a sexed up version of the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come and mirrored this by placing a hand on Markus' shoulder and pointing toward the door, "lead i say, be a gentlemen" she chuckled.

Markus relaxed as he watched Akumu get out of his chair. but shook his head as he watched her suddenly take on the spirit of Christmas yet to come. He shook his head unsure of the girls mental state, but he lead the way regardless. He walked out side and had to blink for a moment shocked at the brightness of the outside world.
Squad four gardens were peaceful place. He breathed the fresh afternoon air. and then began to walk again. Birds chirped the sun was shining the birds were in full bloom, and yet there seemed to be this weird shadow behind him. he tried to shake off the feeling that Akumu was about to kill him.
Markus gave a sigh as he lead Akumu threw the squad four grounds. “Here at squad four everything is required to stay as clean and tidy as possible least we cause an unhealthy living conditions for some of our patients. We take pride in giving the best of our care to the patients that come here. These gardens are full of herbs used for local remedies and also spices used in cooking, and to our left is our homegrown vegetable patch. Were in the middle of growing season at the moment but once there done these supplies will be shipped off to every squad in soul society, and that’s why you don’t screw with squad four because we could poison this shit quite easily.” he spoke as a tour guide leading the way for Akumu but the last bit held an edge of ‘one day.. one day’

Akumu smiled to herself behind her hood as she followed the Fourth Captain. Akumu could hear the faint hiss of L.K. as he tried to convince her to just ditch the medic shinigami and get back to the third squad. ~Oh be silent~ she thought with a dominating tone, ~ i just want to get out of the dark for a while sheesh~ she snorted s she followed. Her hands were covered by the baggy sleeves of her coat and as she moved slowly, almost floating, behind Markus she clearly gave off a dark appearance.
She listened to the captain as he talked about the garden, it was very pretty and caused her to smile softly. "Very nice not a dead tree in sight" she commented seeing as the courtyard in her barracks had not been really taken care of so it wasted away, but it's how she liked it. Akumu's smile faltered hearing how Markus worded the last part of his statement, but then quickly shrugged it off.
"That is interesting" she mused moving so that she was next to him. "What is it we shall eat?" she asked curious to know what would be at this cafeteria, seeing as she ate alone in her office. "Hopefully they'll have animal crackers" she murmured mostly to herself a cruel grin appearing on her face for a moment.

Markus sighed as he walked shaking his head, he didn’t know if they had animal crackers and he certainly didn’t want to find out why Akumu wanted them. he tried to walk it off but couldn’t help but be pulled back to the dark presence. He shook his head it was just her sense of humor, but he could ignore it no longer. “don’t worry im sure we will have plenty to eat.”
Markus hid his hand as it began to glow a faint white light. He stopped walking suddenly turning on his heal he thrusted the glowing palm towards her, if it hit it would do little more then engulf her in a bright light, he wasn’t trying to hurt her, just get her to stop being, well evil around him. “Demon begone!”
Markus wasn’t going to hurt her, too badly. He just wanted to teach her a lesion about being creepy. Squad three had a weird reputation and if he didn’t do his best to teach her manners in his squad then he wasn’t a real squad four member.
