Kairu stands about 5' 10”, has short black hair that is always kept neatly, brown eyes and a somewhat muscular build, but not too much.
Personality: Kairu was brought up in a proper lifestyle. Not exactly a noble, but he was raised in the upper classes of Rukongai. He can be very strict at times, but is also understanding at most times. He won't put it past himself to help someone out, especially if it is to better themselves, but believes that someone should attempt a task before asking for help. He won't help anyone if he believes that they can do it themselves.
Kairu tends to stay quiet the majority of the time, only speaking if he feels the need to, or is required to state anything. He doesn't let many people get close to him, but he doesn't shut himself out. He will make the attempt to put his hand out in friendship, but only if he feels that person is trustworthy.
Zankpakuto
Zanpakuto Name: Akira Hikari
Zanpakuto Spirit Apperance:
Zanpakuto Spirit Personality: Akira comes off as wise, though can be misleading at times. She is rather impulsive, trying to lead Kairu in directions he prefers not to go against his better judgment, but is never reluctant to assist him whenever he needs the help. Even though she remains clam majority of the time, her actions don't always give the impression.
Zanpakuto Realm: A blue sky above clouds, with electrical currents running through them.

Dageki Dendou. It is where a quick burst of electrical current flows through the blade as it strikes the opponent. If the opponent's reiatsu isn't somewhat strong, this strike has a chance to stun the opponent for a brief moment, or momentarily paralyze them if their reiatsu is weak (1 post).
Ba-suto Dendou. All it is is a stronger form of Dageki Dendou, except the electrical current becomes charged, as it is seen moving within the blades, dancing from the hilt along the edges to the tip of one of the blades. In addition, it takes some time to charge the current within the blades. This attack should stun the opponent momentarily at least, or paralyze them for a while if their reiatsu is weak (1-3 posts).
Dendou Tama. Kairu holds the weapon at his side, bracing himself, as it charges to be what would be a Ba-suto Dendou, although the charge is much more powerful, and is only ready to release as soon as there is nothing but pure electrical current flowing with in the blades, and when fully charged (1 post), shoots an electrical blast towards the opponent, stunning them with a chance of momentary paralysis (2 posts).
Bankai State: Akira Hikari, Nigousan Denka.
There is a chain that connects between the hilts that extends 10 ft and has a foot long wrap in the center of the chain
Bankai Powers:
High powered Dageki Dendou, It still functions as the shikai attack.
Tobikiri Tama. What he does is stick one blade into the ground as a ground, and holds the other blade in both hands as he charges it up and it shoots a large bolt of electricity from the tip that will paralyze the opponent (3 posts).
Seuzu. Kairu grabs the wrap and begins to swing the blades, creating a giant circle with his blades. As they rotate, the gather up electrical current (2 posts) and when fully charged launches a large beam of electricity with the intensity of a lighting bolt at the enemy. If hit, the enemy is paralyzed (4 posts) if it's rieatsu can't handle that of Kairu's. His disadvantage to this power though is that due to the intensity of energy, electrical storms can gather really quick and have a large tendancy for lightening to strike, especially aimed for Kairu when he uses an electrical attack.
History: Growing up in the 7th district of East Rukongai, Kairu wasn't a noble, but had an upper class lifestyle. His father was a wealthy merchant that owned several businesses throughout Rukongai, and supported his whole family. Growing up, Kairu had always wanted to become a shinigami, and continued to train as hard as he could so that he could become one someday. His father kept him towards the business side though, not wanting his only son to be part of the danger shinigami faced.
When Kairu was about 150, his father was murdered in the streets by a bunch of thugs. Due to this event, many of his father's shops ended up closing down, and it took it's toll on his mother and two sisters. With no way to continue supporting his family, Kairu vowed to join the Gotei 13, in an effort to support his family. He enrolled to take the academy's placement test, and passed within the average score of everyone else. Throughout his years at the academy, he continuously started to improve, moving ahead of others, and by the time he had graduated not far from the top of his class.
Shortly after graduating from the academy, he was place into squad 13, in the role of security. He stayed there for about a hundred years, all the while training himself to become better. It was also in this time frame that he learned his zanpakuto's name, Akira Hikari. After he learned of her name, he consistently trained to learn her abilities, as the two started off on a rough note, with Kairu being strict and disciplined, while Akira remained spontaneous and impulsive. However, after years of training, the two started to finally get along, while he received a position of teaching at the academy. At the age of 546, Kairu was finally able to communicate well enough with Akira that he was able to achieve bankai. Since then he has trained more often than not to better his ability with his bankai so that he wouldn't electrocute himself in the process of battle.
For over the past few hundred years, Kairu has constantly improved himself in the teaching profession, while all the while gaining ranks within the seated officers. He had become a respected teacher, and though he was being considered for the captaincy of Squad 9, after the meeting with the king, he was instead promoted to the Captain Commander in their decision that he had a lot of promise. For the past 5 years, Kairu has been very busy working in new position, and has been doing all he can to operate the Gotei 13 and open the gate to save the human world he knows is in trouble.
Roleplay Sample: The sky was blue and clear all around. There was nothing visible that could change that. Walking on top the clouds, Kairu felt the tingling sensation of the electrical current on the bottom of his feet, as it danced underneath him. He was in her realm. Akira's realm, his inner sanctum. He looked around, trying to see if he could find his yellow dressed zanpakuto, but couldn't. 'Why she always make me have to find her? Sometimes I wish she didn't do this all the damn time. All the sudden, he felt a spark dance along his shoulder, and across the back of the neck.
“My my, what a pleasant surprise. What brings you here?” Akira asked, with a little playfulness to her tone. “Can't a shinigami talk to his own zanpakuto anymore? It's not as if I don't come at all.” he said calmly. “Well it's just that you don't visit me often anymore. It get's lonely here you know.” she said with some what of a frown on her face. “Well you've seen how busy I've become lately. That's why I'm here as well. I wanted to talk to you about something, see if could receive some advice.” he asked her, as she lifted her hand to create something of a seat for each of them. “Well okay, you know you don't have to ask me. It's not like I'm always busy with some other shinigami.” she said ending in a small chuckle. Kairu sighed for a second, and began talking. “Well just that I've been wondering about this. It all seems too soon almost that I-” as he interrupted himself, noticing a different spiritual pressure. “We'll finish this later. We've got work to do Akira.”“After your lead.”
Kairu came back to the forests of the Rukongai district, noticing the reiatsu of a hollow nearby. Today was supposed to be a day off for him, but he would have to make due at a later date. He hoped to his feet, traveling to the hollow, in attempt to find it before it did any damage. Leaping from tree to tree, he finally managed to track it down, a hollow that looked like a crossbreed of a giant ant mixed with a beetle. “I should end this quickly before it gets out of hand.” Grasping the end of his zanpakuto, he drew it out and rotated it so he was holding it, both his arm and blade across his body. “Denka, Akira Hikari.” In a radiating yellow light, Akira Hikari took her shape, four blades, two on each side of the hilt, serrated on the inside, with a dagger in the center. Kairu came and charged the hollow to strike it. “Dageki Dendou!” he shouted, as the hollow the hollow noticed him and dodged, forcing Kairu to hit nothing but ground, as sparks erupted from the earth. The hollow came around to strike at him, as Kairu barely dodged it's attack, but noticed the opening. “You're wide open beast, the last mistake you'll ever make. Dageki Dendou!” he exclaimed, swinging Akira upwards, slicing the hollow through the mask as a shower of sparks rained down from above. 'That seemed too easy. That was too easy.' he thought to himself, as he prepared for something more to happen.
