A Day In The Life....

Genji was enjoying his music and dancing about when a tremor raced across the ground. He opened his eyes and stopped dancing....for the moment and noticed what looked like a giant falical being pop out of the gorund before retreating. He took out his headphones and turned to look at the group, noticing that Adimus was hauling ass away from the site. He put his head phones away and spoke. "Did anybody else see the giant penis come out of the ground? Or was that just me? " Genji noted that Adimus was still running and decided to get his attention. "Hey borke back! You going to run or help me fight this? I guess the boy will have to do." Genji looked over at Garret with a smile. "Lets go Garret, time to become a man." He said with a smile, knowing this would piss Adi of to the point of coming back.

Genji turned around to face the Hollow that emerged again from the ground. He drew his sword and placed his left hand on the hand gaurd and closed his eyes. "Shou, Mashin" (Destroy, Diablos) Genji opened his eyes and slid his hand down the blade tranforming every part of it as it moved. When he removed his hand what remained could only be described as a demon merging with a Chinese Jian. Where the handgaurd was, there was now a demonic eye that moved as if it where alive. The blade looked like two demon wings folded up but sharp as a laser sharpened edge. He returned his left hand to his side and held his Zanpakuto firmly in the other. "Ive been waiting for this." Genji said as he charged the beast. "Have at you, killer hot dog!"

Lacus sees the giant Hollow pop out of the ground and is overcome with the same feeling as when she saw her first Hollow. She immediately runs away screaming as she runs. Every 40 yard she trips and falls down only to get back up and repeat the process. The only thogh going through her mind is to get away and hide somewhere safe. She feels useless but still hasn't found a way to face her fear yet.

Garret looked at Adimus as he gave the shoes. He didn't expect it, but it was handy. And he did have a point. What if he did come across some glass, barefoot wouldn't have been good at all. He looked over at Lacus hoping that she was calming down somewhat, that hopefully she would feel safer. Taking a seat, he noticed Genji being Genji, just hopping up and down listening to music. He cracked a smile as he began to put the sandals on, even though they weren't the most comfortable things in the world. "Thanks Adimus. These will help out a little. Especially when I really have no clue as to where we're goi-"

Garret noticed the flux in spiritual pressure and knew instantly it was a hollow. He started looking around as both Adimus and Genji noticed too and headed in the direction. He jumped to his feet and put his right arm out as it began to glow. "Got it Genji, already on it!" In a bright flash, his right forearm was covered with a glove that was white and had blue and gold patterning on it. He noticed Lacus take off the other way and shouted "LACUS! COME ON THIS WAY! WE'LL TAKE IT OUT TOGETHER!" He started sprinting after the hollow, noticing it was pretty big. He was glad that Genji and Adimus were here, even if Genji just straight up forced him here.

[Adimus]

Running like hell to get away from a fight he did not want to fight, and ignoring the comment Genji had made, Adi noticed Him and Garret running towards the hollow, whereas Lacus was running like a chicken with it's head cut off in the opposite direction. "Ya think for once we wouldn't have to fight something bigger than ourselves, but nooo, just has to be an outrageous monster!" Adi stopping in his tracks and pulling out his sword. "Hey, shinigami girl, running at that speed won't help you, it can move several times faster than that!" yelled Adi as he flash stepped to Lacus and grabbed her by the back of her uniform and flash stepped again to the top of a large sky scraper that had somehow managed to remain standing.

"Look at me Lacus, look at me! Right in the eye, look!" Adi said holding her down by her shoulders. "You are going to be fine, but you have get a grip, or else you'll panic and that thing will eat you. Just wait here and don't freak out anymore, me and Genji are going to take care of that thing, so just you wait."

With that Adi turned and leaped off the building onto the ground once again, awaiting for a chance to strike, more than likely after the creature resurfaced again. "Oi, Genji, you can slow that thing down with your sword right? If so, when it comes back out, use that and I'll work my magic on it! Garret, run back up if anymore hollow show up; slice and dice those fuckers!"

Giant Worm Hollow, Gargantulas!!!!!!

THe worm came rushing at the new sense it felt from underground, eager to feed. As soon as it got near the surface, Adi immediately flashstepped out of the way to the top of a building while it reared it's head and roared. "Now Genji, get it now!"

Genji leaped at the beast only to have it retreat back into the gorund. He landed at the edge of the hole it made and looked down, endless blackness as far as he could see. He turned around and seen Adimus land on the ground and felt a shockwave ripple under the earths crust and heading for Adimus. "Shit." Genji flash stepped to where Adimus was just standing before leaping to a nearby building. A split second afterward, the hollow reappeared. I have to get this thing out of the ground or this is just going to repeat like a sadistic game of wack a hollow. Genji ran up to the beast and kicked it in the center of its body knocking it back out of the hole , but only a couple feet.

As it flail in mid-air he raised his left hand and yelled out "Gravirei" Genji used his spirit pressure and created a gravitational field slamming the beast into the ground and holding it there for the momoment. All around the beast the ground was being crushed and compacted. Rocks kicked up from the hollow slamming down only to be slammed down themselves by an unseen force. A bead of sweat rolled down Genji's forhead, he usually only used this move to slam projectiles to the ground, so holding this hollow was taking more spiritpressure than usual. He slide his sword into his belt to free up his right hand and raised it toward the beast as well. He looked around to see how much debris laid throughout this, what was now a battlefield. Concrete and girders lay all over the place. Perfect, if need be, i can release and counterattack. "Now everybody!"

Lacus stays where she while looking around for a place to run to or possibly shunpo to if things get worse. She knows that she can't help against this Hollow so she hangs back in order to stay out of the way. The fact she is useless in this fight only makes want to return to Soul Society more, they need those who can help and all they have is her.

Garret watched as the hollow kept popping up and down, as Genji said. A sadistic version of whack-a-hollow. Garret didn't really like playing games with hollows. He wanted them gone. 'Man, it's times like these where I really need to learn how to track spirit pressure... Why the hell is that so damn difficult for me?' He watched as Genji started moving around, flash stepping. Another technique he really needed to learn. Garret realized that this hollow was still a little out of his league, and he really wasn't skilled for this fight. But he was determined to make it out alive, and he was going to make for sure that this hollow would be dead.

Watching as the hollow re-emerged and Genji use his attack on it, Garret starred and waited for his opportunity to strike. Watching the hollows movements as it was being compacted, he could tell by the look in Genji's eyes that he couldn't hold it for much longer. As Genji gave the command for everyone to attack, Garret rushed to hollow. As he approached it, he leaped into the air, bringing back his gloved fist, and slammed hard into the hollow's side, and released his blade into the beast. Hearing the hollow shriek in the obvious blade it now had in it's side, Garret pulled back, with his blade still drawn out. He shifted and prepared another stab, and then felt the ground shake. The hollow had moved it's lower body out of the ground and shifted it's body with momentum, hitting Garret, knocking him back a good 20 feet.

[Adimus]

Adimus saw Genji hold the giant ass worm in place, and was impressed, since that move was meant to send small projectiles to the ground. Seeing this as his moment to strike, and noting that Genji was screaming "Do it now!" gave a hint too.

Rushing in, Adi drew his sword and with a great leap in the air landed on the worms head, or what he perceived to be it's head, and started slashing the hell out of it. However, there was a slight problem with this: When Garret stabbed the worm in it's side, it broke free slightly of Genji's grip, knocking Garret away, but Adi was in a much worse predicament: The worms mouth was open, and Adi can't flashstep in the air, so he was free food for this thing."Oh SHIT!" he screamed as he was helpless to stop himself from being sucked into the worms mouth. "No, no, no, no! Aw shit!" and thus, Adi was swallowed into the worms mouth.

But was eaten. Not even chewed.

Adi sat there, inside the worms mouth, trying to get out. The smell was overpowering, and nearly made him pass out, but he pushed through it, and made that damn worm regret trying to eat him by blasting his way out using Mr. Boomy's Big Boy Shots. The worm sent it's head backwards, then flung itself forward spitting Adi back out before heading back underground, shooting ceroes and spikes at the group.

"Just can't have a normal fight for once. Just gotta get all eaten by a giant worm, then shot at and shit. Just, damn it." He said, feeling very angry and tired at this point, and the smell wasn't helping either. "Just evade the spikes and ceros! It'll either run away or resurface to find us again, and head for high ground!"

Everybody rushed in as Genji yelled to attack. He could feel his hold on the hollow slipping away from him. Garret rushed in first stabbing the beast in the side as Adimus jumped up high and came down on his head, only to be swallowed up by the worm. "Fuck! Are you kidding me right now!?" Genji could only watch as his friend was gulped up by the worm-like hollow. "Give him back!" Genji unsheathed his sword from his belt and ran and slide up to the worms side while forming his mask at the same time.

Upon reaching the beast's side and mask fully formed, Genji slashed in a downward diagonal motion, cutting the hollow, but only mildly wounding it. "What are you?" A slash with my mask and in shikai, and i only cut the surface a little? He thought to himself. He then noticed Adimus come busting out of the worms mouth and back into the group. "Oh thank christ." The hollow proceeded to then retreat back underground shooting spike and ceros at the group. The beast surfaced again, but this time Genji was going to deal a blow to this bastard. Mask still on his face and filled with his hollow powers, Genji had a plan as he raise his left hand and waited for the beasts next strike.

The beast emerged again and he was ready for it. "Gigano Reis" A large ball of gravity, purple in color, shot from his hand. The orb warped and collected debris around it as it flies towards its target with a powerful punch. He noticed it pic up some rebars and concrete and got an idea. "Nice cunductors, let me see if this will work. Hado #4, Byakurai (Pale Lightning)" A blast of blue lightning shot from his hand and got sucked up by the orb. The orb, now traveling with debris from the ground and dancing with his Kido went flying straight for the hollow. The beast seen the blast coming and countered it with a rather large cero, sending Genji back a few feet from the blasts shockwave. He rose to his feet, mask disappearing as he stood. He was out of breath and out of ideas. He didnt want to go bankai to defeat a mere hollow, but this thing had an advantage on them, being able to go throughout the ground and attack them at will. "Maybe we should get a giant hook and go about this a different way Adi?" Genji said jokingly, trying not to show how tired this fight had actually made him.

Lacus watches the others fight from her vantage point, and ecides that she really isn't going to be any help to these guys any time soon. When the Hollow starts firing off spikes and ceros Lacus has to dodge them using Shunpo which causes he rto become tired quickly. As she dodges she moves randomly ad finds herself next to the Hollow, when she appears it is obvious her shunpo is not being executed very well and is using more reiatsu than it should. As she looks at the Hollow her face turns pale and she passes out.

Garret got back to his feet after being knocked back. "Man that hurt like hell... This is gonna be fun..." He began to rush back towards the hollow, knowing that it would probably hit him back, but stopped after he watched Adimus get swallowed. "ADIMUS!!!! DAMNIT YOU BASTARD!!! Genji! How the hell do we get him out?" He watched as Genji let go of the hold he was attempting and attack it. Noting his mask, Garret prepared to attack again, readying his blade. He began to rush but slowed down, noticing Lacus shunpo everywhere. 'What the...'

As he saw out of the corner of his eye Genji attack the hollow and not do much with his mask on. He started thinking of what he would possibly do to make any harm to this thing. He figured the best idea he could do was to just attack and wear it down somehow. Before he could move, the hollow retreated back, and came out again shooting it's ceros at the group. Moving as fast as he could to avoid being hit, he noticed Lacus on the ground. "Shit... LACUS! HOLD ON! GENJI, COVER ME!" as he started running to Lacus, dodging ceros left and right. He finally got to her and picked her up and began running to behind a wall to try and get her to safety.

[Adimus]

"Alright this is getting out of hand. Gotta find a way to end this soon or we're fucked." Adi said to Genji. Then Genji made the comment about making a giant hook and going about it in a different way, as if to turn it into fish bait. And thats when it hit him. Adi looked around at the giant steel girders littering the battlefield, and ran over to one. Summoning a decent sized amount of energy, Adi lifted the biggest girder he could find and bent it into a hook like shape, using his sword, he sliced one end to a point. "Alright Genji, I think I got an idea here!" Adi called out to him.

Picking up the girder, Adi ran out into the open ground, taunting the worm to attack him. Pulling out a reiki chain (Rei meaning spirit and Ki meaning energy, and the chain is a tool of the trade for Adi) Adi slammed it onto the girder, and then threw the other end around his waist. Charging his spirit energy into the chain, Adi made it extendable, thus when the giant worm came out from the ground, Adi simply leaped out the way of it's mouth, and let the worm bite down on it, thus turning it into a fish with a baited hook.

There was one slight problem with this: Adi may be strong, but he isn't Kratos, and he couldn't hold out against the worm for long. Although he held it in place for quite a decent period of time, the worm did eventually begin to drag Adi off, so when that happened, He took his chain off and tagged it to the side of a building. By this point, Adi was just under half his spirit reserves, but his physical strength was deteriorating rapidly, making him weak from the ordeal. "Genji, Garret's off taking care of the tart Shinigami, so it's up to us to finish this thing off. It's tied down for now," Said picking up another girder and slamming it into the worms side pinning it down further. "But the fucker is still alive, so let's hurry the hell up and kill it already."

Genji watched as Adimus made a giant hook and baited the worm and pinned it to the ground with another girder. Adimus made mention that they needed to finish this fight up quick and Genji had just the idea. "Ok Adimus, you said fast. Garret, take the girl further back, and Adimus, brace yourself." Genji held his sword straight up in front of his face so that the eye on his sword met with his "third eye" on his forehead. "Bankai" A ball of gravity eminated from the swords eye and spread until it completely engulfed Genji. When the darkness subsided, their Genji stood.

His heir went from being black to pure white and his whole body turned black. On his back, sprouted two pure black angel wings. "Kuro Daun Tenshi (Dark Fallen Angel)" Genji reached infront of himself and his hand seemed to slip into another dimension. As he pulled his hand back out, his sword returned with it. He raised his hand at the hollow and gathered energy into his hand. Condensed gravity began to form in his left hand, aiming at the path with the most debris. "Zangu Mareisu" Genji releases a beam of highly condensed gravity that is the size of his palm. The beam gathered debris from the environment around it, picking up girders, rebar, and concrete before slamming into the hollow and dealing a powerful blow to the enemy.

He then repeated the same move 3 more times, each time dealing damage on the surface, while piercing through the enemy. When the beams pierced through the hollow, they took parts of its insides with it, collapsing into the beam itself. Genji smirked and looked at the face of the hollow as it roared in pain. He shunpo'd up in front of his face, hovering in mid air as he flapped his large black wings. The beast was still flailing shooting ceros and spikes to get Genji away from it. He slashed the spikes, breaking them into pieces, before he called his mask out again. Genji lifted his left hand again focusing alot of energy into this move. "Gravirei" Genji created a gravitational field that smashes the opponent to the ground and holding it their with intense gravity. "Hes weak, the move i used tored and collapsed some of his insides, attack now, with everything you can. He wont last much longer."

Lacus slowly wakes up and feels stupid. With everything that happened and her lack of ability to help much less remain calm she is sure she will be yelled at now. She looks at her Zanpokutou and whispers "stupid piece of crap, your just as useless as I am." She sighs and prepares herself for an ass chewing and possible abandonment, but she can't blame them if they do so. They people who can help them and she can't do squat so far.

Garret held Lacus tight as he ran towards the wall. He could hear Adimus and Genji talking about what they were trying to do, and wondered if any of it would work. He wanted this to be over. He was used to battling hollow, and taking them out, but over the past 5 years, it had started getting worse and worse. As much as he didn't want for any of it to be true, he honestly felt like the world was gonna end. The sights he'd seen, the places he'd been and found destroyed. His home was no more, his parents dead, and he had yet to find his sister. And that was even if his sister was still alive.

He got behind a wall and sat Lacus down, as he saw her look to her zanpakuto and start muttering to herself. "Lacus... Hey, Lacus! Look at me, are you okay? Talk to me, tell me something!" He hadn't the first idea as to how to treat a shinigami, he had never had to do so before. He had gotten some experience treating wounds on people, but never a shinigami. That's when he felt the jump in spiritual pressure. He had never felt something quite like it before. It was huge, and it was powerful he knew, but from what? He looked over and saw Genji, completely black, and with wings as he began attacking the hollow. Everything became shrouded in dust as Genji's attacks were landing and Garret lost view of what was going on.
