A Day In The Life....

[Adimus]

Adimus was moving through the ruins of a destroyed city making his way to a train station on the other side that was held by the Army. He had begun his long trek to Japan, where his orders from the Jade Order had sent him to investigate the events that had set the world ablaze and why the gate between the human world and Soul Society had been shut down and preventing Shinigami from coming to the rescue. He was out on a mission, and was recently promoted within his order to a rank equal to a captain of a battalion. His charge, the first part at least, was to find and build a team of Jade's to go down to Karakura town, Japan, and meet with a contact the Human Orders had down there and set up a way to re-open the gate. His travelling companion that was with him had made it to where he had to be, and the two had parted ways.

"I wonder how that guy is doing." Adi mentioned to himself as he walked down the weed ridden road, the buildings and cars around him rusting. As he moved along, he felt a spirit pressure nearby, and it was something rather dark. Moving quietly through the streets taking cover behind old cars, Adi sneaked up on whatever was giving off the spirit pressure, all the while he was masking his own as to not give away his position. When he turned the corner, he saw the creature that was giving off the aura; A hollow, not a large one, but not a small one either, was roaming around searching for a soul to eat. "My my, aren't you a ugly little bastard..." Adi said in a whisper, pulling out his Shotgun.

Moving in a little closer, Adi popped out from behind his cover, and with a little "Heya buddy! Fuck off and enjoy!" from Adi, he flipped off the hollow before blowing it's upper torso clean off.

As the hollow dissolved, Adi felt a very powerful and deep spirit pressure approaching him from behind, and Adi immediately went on guard. Whatever it was, it didn't feel human, nor did it feel like a hollow, in fact it felt like something he had seen before, only....different.

"I seriously hope that things friendly. If not, this place is going to be one hell of a wreck." Said Adi, looking around himself and his surroundings. "Then again, it won't really matter."

Genji was walking around aimlessly with his headphones in, as per usual. He often didnt pay attention to where he was going majority of the time anyways, nor did he care. The day was beautiful, even in the depressing run down ruins of the city he so happened to dance his way into. The days had been passing slower and slower fo Genji. Not too many hollows decided to attack him anymore, and with the gates to soul society closed, no shinigami where hunting him either. Now he just spent his days going on long ass nature hikes, leading him to god knows where. All he could ask for on these little excurtions was that somebody would grow the balls to attack him. Genji stopped dancing when he felt a slight rise in spirit pressure. He didnt see what had happened, but release his spirit pressure none the less to try and flush out whatever he couldnt see. Taking his headphones out and putting them and his mp3 player away, Genji walked on further into the city ruins. He passed by some debris and an old structure of what looked like where a school use to stand, when he noticed a figure stading in the open. Genji smiled, he could tell who it was right away. Genji flashstepped right behind Adimus and spoke quietly "Why is it i always run into you on my walks?"

[Adimus]

"The question is," Adi said backhanding Genji int he nose, "Is why are you always around and trying to sneak up on people, That's a bad habit man!" Adi turned around and patted his friend on the shoulder before speaking again. "Long time no see buddy, what you doing all the way out here? Just going for a little walk in the park?" Adi said to Genji with a chuckle.

"Tell ya right now, if ya don't mind, you can tag along with me, could use the company, plus it'd be easier to take an unguarded train ride with another strong person on board in case we're attacked. Not that it'd be happen, but we both know our luck hasn't always been the best." Adi said, hoping he could get Genji to tag along.

The more the merrier, and with Genji along, checkpoints would be easier to get past. "Oh yea, by the way, whatever happened to that Garret kid? I hope he's doing alright."

Genji rubbed his nose where Adimus smacked him. "Owie" Genji muttered to himself. "I was walking along and kept flashstepping while dancing, not paying attention, you know. Next thing i know, im here. As for tagging along, hell ya i'll join you, dont have anything better to do anyways, atleast not yet..." Genji looked around at the scuffle marks in the dirt. "Have yourself a visitor? Looks like he didnt stay long." Genji asked curiously. "As for Garret, hes still in Japan, but i'll be sure to send him the message." Genji smiled a half assed grin and reached in his shirt pocket, only to pull it back out along with a small red ball. He filled it with a tiny bit of his spirit pressure and a message letting Garret know where he was. He then took a few steps back from Adimus and locked on to Garrets energy signature. After pinpointing Garret's local Genji chambered the ball back and launched it out into the open sky. "God, i love using that thing. So, where to now?" HE asked with a smile.

Lacus cautiously sneaks from ruined building to ruined building hoping that no Hollows start following her. She feels a strong reiatsu and slows down. She doesn't know what it is or if it is friendly or not, so she decides to think of it as hostile. She starts trying to circle around it in an attempt to avoid a fight and live to see another day. As she progresses the reiatsu only gets stronger, since she hasn't learned how to tell where a reiatsu is coming from she continues trying to avoid it and ends up finding it instead. She rounds the corner of a ruined building and sees at least one human and another who looks human but feels different than the other. Both have the feel of a reiatsu stronger than most humans, but the stronger of them is the source of the unknown reiatsu. Lacus starts backing away and prepares to run to her right.

[Kyle]

Garret was laying down, waiting to fall asleep while in the back of the Urahara shop. He had only been there a few months, and was the only stable place he knew. He had met Genji his first day there, and ever since, his life hadn't been the same. He learned all about the hollows, the shinigami, what was happening to the world... He figured that nothing would be the same anymore. Just as he was closing his eyes, he noticed a little red ball pop in to his view. It had been a while since he'd seen this thing, but had cursed Urahara for inventing it. "Oh son of a b-" as he was instantly being teleported from his bed.

He came into daylight about 15 ft above the air and yelling as he began to fall. Hit felt himself hit something as he came down, and it was sorta soft and he just figured the ground was soft there. "Damn Genji... Why does he love to use that damned thing... Especially me of all people..." He rolled over and got to his feet, and quickly yelled out "Aight Genji! Where the hell are-" as he instead noticed what he landed on. It wasn't soft ground, it was a girl. He turned red in the face, put a hand behind the back of his head and reached his other hand out for her to grab. "Eheheh... I'm, uh, sorry about that... It's a long story kinda... I'm Garret. Sorry to fall on you Ms..." he asked her with a question like tone to find out her name, hoping that she didn't beat the hell out of him for falling on her.

[Adimus]

Adi was awaiting Genji's reply when he felt a very samll and delicate spirit pressure nearby. it was just barely enough to get his attention, and it felt as if it didn't want to be found. Right as the being went to run, Adi took a flashstep towards the target area, but was stopped by the sight of Garret magically appear int he air and fall onto what appeared to be a shinigami. Taken aback by the fact that not only did the foolish human boy appear out of thin air, but that the foolish human boy appeared out of thin air and landed on what looked to be a shinigami.

"Well I'll be damned, Garret, long time no see kiddo!" Adi said lifting him up to his feet. "And I'll be even more damned, a shinigami! I thought you guys were all like locked up behind the Senkaimon or whatever it's called! Man, you have got to tell me how you ended up here!" Adi said grabbing her and lifting her up to her feet as well.

"Genji, lookit at what I found!" looking back at his friend. "Now now Shinigami, that guy there is among our allies now, so no attacking or trying to hunt any Vizards ya see got it?" Adi said pointing towards Genji then poking the Shinigami. "Now then, My name's Adimus, Adi for short. That there is Garret," He said pointing to Garret, "And that guy over there is Genji, the Head of the Vizard Tribunal. And we're well........I know I'm on a trip to go save the world blah blah blah, I guess these two are jsut tagging along! Now then, who are you?"

Genji looked over to where Adimus had pointed. He noticed Garret had finally arrived at their local, and apparently made a new friend in the process. "Thats weird, i didnt know you could bring people with you when summoned by a splatter ball." Genji walked over to the girl who appeared to be a shinigami. "Its this your girlfriend Garret, awwww, shes so cute." Genji looked over at Adimus. "They grow up so fast dont they Adi?" Genji said with a chuckle. "Yes my dear, my name is Genji Kutaka, head of the Vizard tribunal. I come in peace and i mean you no harm, blah blah blah." He said mocking Adimus. "Now that the party is formed, shall we begin the quest?" Genji said with eagerness, waiting to see what suprised where instore next.

Lacus looks at them and blushes at the girl friend comment since she isn't used to being teased like that. "What's a Vai...that thing you said? I haven't heard of that before. And I am not really sure how I got here. I just want to go back to Soul Society really. They are probably going to kill me. I don't even have a division yet, I shouldn't even be here since I just graduated from the academy..... well I guess it has been awhile now. But I am not very good at anything except running, I'm very good at running. I am Lacus, Lacus Ramius and I'm not a very good Shinigami. In fact I'm a lousy Shinigami I can barely do anything right." Lacus speaks to them in quiet timid voice as she blushes even more.

[Kyle]

Garret glared at Genji for a brief moment. "Oh haha Genji. And I kinda got tagged along there Adimus, no thanks to him..." as he sighed. It'd been a while since he had seen Adimus. He had only met him once, while he was with Genji. Genji had been training him for the past few months now, and Adimus had been a guy that had appeared one day and helped him out. That was the only time he had met him however. He shook his head, and looked over at the shinigami.

He listened to Lacus speak, and was kinda surprised. He had only met a few shinigami, so he really didn't know how to recognize them. Feeling by spirit pressure was still very new to him, he only recognized a hollows, from seeing them so often, as well with Genji's, as it was similar to Ichigo's. He had the thought of talking to Ichigo again, as it had been a while since the orange haired guy had been by the shop. "So wait... You've been stuck here in our world for the past five years? Hell, I'd have to say you've done a pretty good job so far! You're only the 4th shinigami I've ever met. Obviously you're better than you think. Why don't you come along with us. I don't have the slightest clue as to where we're going," as he glared a Genji again "but come with us anyways." He gave her a warm and kind smile. He did have to agree with Genji however, she was kind of cute, especially with how she was blushing.

[Adimus]

"Well now, who woulda thunk it?" Adi said sarcasticly, "A shinigami that doesn't know a thing Vizards and hollows." Adi looked around at the group that had suddenly appeared before him: A crazed Vizard, a young and somewhat naive human, and a shinigami that doesn't have a clue about her job, let alone be strong enough to fight.

Adi sigh, pressing his palm to his forehad. "I seriously hope you've gotten stronger Garret, because even with Genji here, having to carry two noobies in a fight wouldn't sit well with me." Moving forward along the path, Adi decided that they had stood there long enough and it was time to move again. "Well, seeing how you guys have no choice but to come with me and Genji, the only thing I have to say is to stay close and don't be stupid in a fight, because there will be a fight before we get to where we have to go. And Lacus, I'll fill you in on the details of everything you don't seem to know about the world as of late." Said Adi as he turned and began walking.

Genji smiled as they were finally starting to move. He reached in his pockets and pulled out his mp3 player and turn on some rise against. Placing both headphones in his ears he cranked up the volume as if to block everybody else out. He began walking along past Adimus and into his own little world. Moving and flailing about as if he was in the band himself. He thought about how they had actually formed a party this time around and wondered what crazy off the wall shit was going to happen this time. It always seemed that whenever him and Adimus got together, shit hit the fan. Genji proceeded to walk through the ruins of the down city, walking from place to place ahead of people as if looking for something, or someone. "Genji you fool, what the hell are you going." Mashin whined, but Genji just ignored him. So it was himself, a shini with semi-amnesa, a broke back cowboy, and a human. Man what a fucked up party of people. He didnt care however, as long as he had his music he was ok.

[lacus]

Lacus sighs and follows them, she doubts she could get away from them no matter how hard she might try. The fact they are going to be in danger only makes her more nervous than before. She starts looking around everywhere as if millions of Hollows are going to jump them at any moment. She raises her hands in front of her face and starts chewing on her fingers absent mindedly. Having graduated at the bottom of the academy, she had missed a few things while learning. One of those things was about Vaizards, she never really paid attention since she figured she would never graduate much less get sent tot he world of the living. Even than if she had paid attention she doubts it would have stuck anyway since she can barely use kidou even with chant discard. Using kidou isn't something she wants to do if they get attacked since she has the annoying habit of blowing herself up most of the time.

[Kyle]

As they began walking, Garret was kind of annoyed by Adimus' comment. 'Am I stronger? Good lord... What's it to him to pass judgment on whether or not I'm stronger? It's not like he's the one who's training me. Whatever. I just need to get Genji back for pulling me out like this. I am no way prepared for a fight right now...' It was true as well, he really wasn't prepared for a fight. He hadn't really gotten any sleep, he was in blue pajama pants and a white tank top, and was walking barefoot. Granted, he had gotten used to being barefoot, walking in the basement of the Urahara shop. Genji made sure of that one.

Looking over at Lacus, he couldn't help but wonder how exactly she had been stuck in the human world for so long and stayed alive. She seemed like a pretty young woman, even though he knew the back of his head that she had to be much older than what she looked. She was a shinigami, and that was one of the things Genji and Urahara had taught him about them. But watching as she bit and chewed on her fingernails, he could tell she had been through a lot. "Hey, Lacus... Don't worry. We'll be fine. Genji's one hell of a fighter. His presence may be a little frighting, especially when he puts his mask on, but he's a good guy. And Adimus is pretty good too. I may still be learning, but I know how to fight also. Don't worry, you're in good hands. I'm pretty sure you know how to fight too, I mean that... Zanpakuto? Right? I'm sure it's not just for looks."

[Adimus]

Adi looked around at his group, and felt a bit sad at the sight: A retarded Vizard that didn't pay a lick of attention to the world around him, a human boy that was still wet behind the ears, and a shinigami girl that had a zanpaktou clearly for looks, thinking back tot he comment that Garret had made about it. Speaking of looks, Adi noticed that Garret was indeed still in his PJ's and had no shoes on. "Well now that won't do." Adi said in his mind, and reached inside his bag for a pair of spare sandal like shoes to hand to Garret.

"Here guy, you might need these, I know you probably have strong bottomed feet, but that won't help you if there's glass or some shit ya know." He said handing Garret the footwear. "Now then, let us be on our way, and Lacus, unless one of the big ten espada come themselves, we ain't got nothing to worry about. So stop being all nervous, it'll attract unwanted attention." He said before moving off again.

Right as he was about to move off, the ground shook, as if a tremor had passed through the area. "Oh what the hell is that..." Adi said in a dark and unhappy tone. Just then, a large hollow emerged from the ground far off in the distance, and damn was it big. It looked as if it was a worm, and after rising upward in direction, it fell backwards heading underground again.

With his jaw dropped, Adi simply stared for a minute before swiftly deciding that running would be amazing idea. "Welp, I've seen some weird shit before, but giant fishing bait, well, that's new. Time to go!" He said before dashing off running as fast as he could without leaving Garret and Lacus behind. "Hey Genji, just wanna let you know something; I hate you. Shit always happens when you're around!"
