Personality: Franz is a proud noblemen from the Western Alliance Faction of the Jade Order. Being French, he was raised to fight as a European Knight of old, and I mean OLD because it's been centuries since France had the best military in ages. He was trained in many arts of war, but the biggest would be his teachings in the ways of the Holy Light. Not of God, or any real deity, just the Holy Light. The teachings preach about protecting those weaker then thou, defending the truth of the light, showing patience and wisdom where it be needed, and upholding peace and love wherever it may be. Thus, Franz is very much the same way. he abhors violence to the point of irony, seeing how he himself is a weapons master, and hates hollows, and treats vizards as a necessary evil, for "Anything that appears as a hollow must be evil yet.....These beings do not aim to harm us, but rather, protect us. Vigilant I will be nonetheless towards these beings, for Light protect us should they turn their leaves." or so he says. As for Shinigami, unlike Adimus, he has never seen one before, and only theorizes on what they must look and act like.
Appearance:
Fully clad in a modern age, but dark ages themed suit of armor, Franz stands at a starking 7 and a half feet tall, wielding a massive Flamberge imbued by the Holy Light. He wears a black and white tabard with dark beige pants under the armor. The plates of armor you see on his left thigh and leg aren't actually armor plates, but rather his Libram, or "Holy Book", which grants him, and Knights like him special abilities during combat via reading or inscribing the words into their skin.
Origin of Power: Franz was trained at an early age in the ways of war and the Holy Light. He was sent off to the Vatican at a young age to learn how to be a Paladin of sorts, and from there developed his "gift". When the worlds suffered a power surge, his powers only grew, thus making him a true to life Paladin and protector of Life.
Special Abilities: Thanks to his Libram, he has not one but two special abilities. The bending of the Holy Light allows him to fight off demons, undead, and other harsh entities such as hollows without worry of having his weapons bounce off. When he focuses on harmonious things, he can channel the light to heal small wounds. By small I mean lacerations, not too heavy gunshot wounds (small arms fire) and shallow stab wounds. A hole in the chest however, and he's reading your last rites. This does come at a cost however, for he uses a particular energy known as Mana, or "Life-Blood", which if he uses too much, he won't be able to move or stay awake, let alone fight.
The second would be via his Libram, which makes it so that the flames that emit from his sword have a MUCH harder time being put out unless he commands it. It also grants him the ability to manipulate the fire, allowing him more creative ways to burn the fuck outta people, such as chains made of fire or little fireballs that explode into smaller ones. Of course he can't do it often, in fact the multiple fire fireball can only be used once every three posts. The chains Franz doesn't like using without his armor for the fact it can also burn him, since the fire at the ends of the chains aren't his own, but the extension of heat caused by his holy fire.
Powers First Stage: Holy Aura- Franz emits an aura of Holy Light, and he doesn't even mean for it to happen most of the time, it just came from years of training with it. The aura allows him to 'boost' the combat prowess of those around him, and when channeled, allows him to enhance himself and attack things humans normally couldn't kill. He can also focus it into small bursts of energy and blast it outward as a projectile attack for up to 30 yards. To elaborate on the boosting effect of the Holy Aura, Franz would stand in the middle of a group of 5, himself included, and give off the aura. If Squadmate 1 had the strength of a regular human, he would be boosted to be able to be as strong as a 3 regular humans, and everything else would be equal to that. The more people around him, the weaker the effect.
Powers Second Stage: Upon drawing his sword, The blade becomes covered in flame, more resembling God's Flaming Sword Of Judgement. When he hits something with it, it stays lit up, and doesn't douse out unless you overpower it or Franz commands it so. In addition, Franz can bend the fire, which is white by the way, and swing it outward, turning it into a blade of devastation, burning whatever it touches, and making nearby plants wither and die....Or people should they prove too weak to withstand the heat. As for hollows, this move is highly devastating and can be a one shot if the hollow is like a gillian, but for the high level ones, this move is nothing more than another human trying to save his life.
There's also a rather deadly, and extremely reckless method of using his sword as well. You see that pommel there? Well it can become detached from the sword, and hooked to a 15 foot chain, of which Franz can swing around. A 22 foot Fire-Wheel of death, being swung around so it cuts literally like a hot knife through butter. Downside?Well it's a 22 foot fire-wheel of death, getting it to stop, or not incinerating everything around Franz, including Franz himself, is extremely hard to do.
Powers Third Stage: The third and final power that Franz has is a bit of a cheapie, but it does have its limits. The Divine Seal of Angels if a move where Franz gains a near unlimited amount of power, but it begins to burn out his life span if used for too long. On the flipside and ironic note, it creates a shield around him, allowing no harm to come to him for exactly 30 seconds (this is how long Franz can hold it without being killed). A Rough translation is like.....3 posts? Another thing to note is that he looks alot like an angel, growing wings and glowing BRIGHT as all hell with white light. After using such a technique, Franz cannot bend the holy light for at least one whole day, and must rest immediately or face his own death.

Sadly, his family was also hated, for in the Jade Order, there were sub factions, and some groups outside the order didn't like any of them, and often times attacked them. You know those movies about Faction A not liking and attacking Faction B? Well most of it was real sadly, and for Franz, he was part of the Western Alliances of the White Knights, which were hated by a large number of people, mostly those who worshiped darker deities and beings. During a small and relatively unrecorded conflict, Franz House came under attack, (by House I mean Noble Family, all of them) and was nearly wiped out if the Jade order hadn't stepped in and saved them all. This is where Adi and Franz first crossed paths, for it was Adi's mother that led the forces that aided Franz's family and let them gather themselves to repell their attackers.
During the conflict, at the tender age of 11, Franz lifted his father's sword, and fought off the invaders when his father was too badly injured to continue fighting. After the conflict, Franz's father died due to his complications from his wounds. His mother took over Control of the House, and had Franz commissioned to go to the Vatican to be trained on how to use his father's sword and armor and be able to bend the Holy Light. Although he didn't want to go at first, he was shown the devastation the conflict had wrought, and felt that his duty was to learn and restore his house back to it's former glory.
During this time, he learned how to wear a specially made armor worn by the knights of the order he belonged to. As he grew, so did his stature within the Knights, and in no time, it was his turn to commission himself as a full blown White Knight. The members of his faction have to go through a sort of rite of passge ritual, containing a series of trials set forth by their master. Franz's teacher had his class go inside of a cavern tunnel system which was enriched by the darker life energies of the land, causing him to be in a state of perfect darkness, meaning he couldn't hear, see, taste, feel, smell, and he find his way out of the caverns. Of the 10 people that went in, only 3 made it out safely, Franz being one of them. After the ordeal, his next trial was one of combat, where he had to fight 5 Imperial Knight Masters in a row and survive, of which he barely succeeded. The last and final test was to make and attune himself to his sword, which the process of nearly killed him, but produced a 7ft long weapon of Holy Death and Destruction that was fully attuned to him and capable of holding his spiriual energy and mana. When these trials had been completed, he was recognized as a full fledged White Knight of the Western Alliances, and began his journey home.
When he finished his training, he returned home, and took his vengeance on those that killed his family, making each one stand trail by the Holy Light via burning them to death with it. After that, control was handed back to him from his Mother, and when the end of the world came, Franz packed up shop and moved his family down to Berlin after Paris fell, and has been there ever since. Now he sits and waits, waiting for the world to show what shall be done next, and readying himself for the time to make his move.
