Amai's cheeks darkened as she saw Markus, her eyes looking over his body as she seemed to be analyzing him. She then looked away as he walked past her and to the bed. She looked over to him and stepped to follow as he laid down.

Hearing his comment on there being enough room made her blush even more but didn't stop her from laying down. The night had been long but laying beside him for the night wouldn't cause the night to go wrong. She crawled into the bed and laid beside him, leaving some space.

Amai leaned toward Markus and kissed his cheek as she smiled lightly. "Sweet dreams, Markus. See you in the morning.." Her voice was soft and smooth as she laid on her side. The strap of the muscle shirt fell off her shoulder but she didn't mind it. She then turned her back to him to hopefully make him feel more comfortable.

Markus felt her kiss on his cheek and then watched as she turned over, probably for his own comfort but it kind of sadnd him. still he snuggled in close to amai and wrapped an arm around her. “good night amai ill see you in the morning.”

He closed his eyes but found it actually kind of hard to sleep not because of amai’s presesnce he found that soothing, no the reason he was having a problem sleeping was because he wasn’t really that tiered. He had done a lot today so by all rights he should be exausted and he felt good to be in his own bed again. but he just couldn’t sleep.

Markus layed down his arm around amai’s stomach hoping she wouldn’t really mind the fact that he was choosing to be so close. He felt it kind of soothing it had been a long time since he had been like this, and although he probably could expect nothing more this was nice.

After she had turned her back to him, Amai felt Markus wrap his arm around her waist. Her heartbeat racing a bit but relaxing as she leaned into him, hearing him say goodnight to her in what seemed to be him speaking softer.

Her eyes had closed, trying to sleep but yet she couldn't. Amai's eyes looking straight ahead of her as she relaxed in Markus's grasp. Slowly she placed her hand onto his and slipped her fingers between his, holding his hand gently. "And... Thank you for such a wonderful evening.. Thank you so much.." She said softly, almost in a hushed whisper.

Amai remained silent after that, only a shy smile on her lips as she looked ahead of her. The feel of his body heat making her own remain warm as she leaned back into him a bit. She had fallen asleep before, meaning now she would be up for a while.

Markus couldn’t sleep for some reason and instead just felt the warmth of her body against him. he smiled as she thanked him. “thank you for going out with me.” he felt her snuggle against him and held her somewhat tighter.

Markus had never done anything like this, at least not on the first date. Laying next to a woman in bed even if she was clothed even if he knew nothing more was to come of it, it was still nice. He kissed her cheek lightly leaning over her to do so. He had no mind to do anything but at the same time, she had kissed him.

He again tried to close his eyes but sleep it seemed would not come. for no reason it seemed like it felt like he was trapped in the world of the awake. And he knew that his next shift at the hospital would be, in only a few hours.

Amai found herself uncomfortable with her back to Markus and instead of remained still after he snuggled into her and held her tighter, Amai turned and faced him, laying her head on his chest in a gentle and warm manor.

She was shocked that she had not left to go home but instead was wearing Markus's clothing and was laying in his bed in his arms. Amai didn't really know if shse was truly awake or not but it didn't stop her from enjoying the night in any way shape or form.

She then looked up at Markus as he closed his eyes. By the sound of his breathing, it was obvious he was still awake. Amai's lips then parted as she whispered to him. "Markus... Rest... You have to be up in the morning.. Lets.. Get some sleep..Okay..?" Her voice had a soft and loving ring to it as she whispered.

Markus felt her face against his chest, snuggled against him. his arm wrapped around her more. As she mentioned the idea of sleep he thought it sounded like a great idea, but couldn’t really think of a way to achieve it. he kept his eyes closed and tried to slow his breathing.

Markus sighed hearing her state that he had to be up tommarrow when didn’t he have to be up. I he were just the captain of squad two his life would be so much easier, that squad at least let him sleep in. “your right of course.”

Markus closed his eyes once more and slowly this time his body went silent. Drifting off to sleep finally. His hand slipped from its hold slightly and landed lightly on her breast, but of course he was asleep so its not like he really noticed.

Amai smiled lightly at his words and leaned into him a bit more, hearing his heart and breathing steady, proving he was finally asleep. She shifted a bit, getting closer to him as she blushed feeling slight pressure on her breast which caused her to slightly jump. She realized it was Markus's sleeping hand and merely moved, letting the hand fall onto the bed.

Amai got closer to Markus slightly, closing her eyes as her head rested on his chest. Her breathing slowly calmed down as her body relaxed much more. Her hand gripped the blanket which laid over them gently as she let out a soft sigh.

After which she then smiled before whispering softly. "Good... Night... And sweet dreams.. Markus..." After saying her soft words she drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

Markus awoke in the early morning as with his professions way. It was far too early to wake up Amai with out feeling like he was hurting her sleeping pattern. He got up slowly and carefully and made a light breakfast for himself and also made bacon and eggs for Amai covering the tray so that they would remain hot, and then leaving the platter beside Amai, he kissed her lightly on her cheek. He wanted to wake her up, but couldn’t he wrote a note telling her that he had to leave for work and hopped to see her again soon, and that she hopped she would understand.

Leaving in the morning felt selfish, but Markus wanted to make sure Amai could sleep in. he walked out of the room not making a sound and got dressed and left taking with him his weighted captains hiyori. He would only be in his office for a little while but he had to get to the infermery to do his rounds sooner or later.

Amai woke up to the sound of her watch going off as an alarm but yet, she ignored it. She leaned in where her source of warmth once was and found only more sheets though the scent of the man that once laid beside her was there. Slowly Amai's eyes opened only to see nothing before her but the warm sheets and a pillow. She slowly sat up, her crimson hair seeming to coat over her body as she lightly blinked and looked around.

Slowly but eventually, the thoughts of the previous night as well as the memories, slowly started to drift back into her mind as Amai smiled, gripping onto the blanket which encased her. She removed it from over her and turned to get off the bed when she spotted a tray and a note. She quickly picked up the note and read it, smiling at the words before putting it down and eating. Once she was done, she changed into her clothing and washed the dishes which she ate from, leaving the used closed in a hamper before leaving and returning to the twelfth division.
